The Rayo is a twin-tip board in a class of its own. It offers high freestyle potential combined with a very comfortable feeling when you ride it. It is equipped with a strong rocker-line with a little more flex as the Laluz, because of that, the Rayo goes upwind very easily; this also depends on its large surface. This board is a good choice for beginners, but also for all freeriders needing much upwind for their maneuvers.
The 2010 Rayo is made with state-of-the-art methods to produce a kiteboard: Full wood core laminated with Bi-Ax fibreglass. All-in-all it is a little bit heavier as the Laluz, comparing with other boards, the Rayo is still one of the lightest.
The Laluz is a high performance Freestyle-board which offers a very lively feeling because of combining a large rocker, deep concave, variable flex and a broad tip/tail area. It reacts directly on each steering input to the edges, goes upwind easily and offers great handling. The 2010 Laluz is made with state-of-the-art methods to produce a kiteboard: Full wood core laminated with Tri-Ax fibreglass strengthened with Carbon-Kevlar® stringer. The Laluz is very light but stable.
Both boards have very comfortable, easy to mount and completely adjustable footstraps combined with extra-light EVA-pads.
We tested both boards intensely: In our opinion they are one of the best boards in the season 2010! They’re transferring a great feeling combined with a huge wind-range. Considering the high-quality methods of producing and the good price, the Xenon boards are top-rated.
