The Omega HD (High Depower) is an incomplexe and versatile high depower freeride kite for almost any and all conditions. For example the SprintTM (single point inflation) system brings maximum comfort when rigging the kite.

 

Depending on riders preference the Omega can be ridden with either a pulley or non-pulley control system. This way you can adjust turning speeds, depower and bar pressure. The Omega and Cabrinhas 2N1 control system quickly converts from one mode to the other in minutes.

 

The pulley mode favors faster turning speeds and is quicker to power up and depower down. Great for surfing and freeriding and enables you to relaunch without removing your hands from the bar. The non-pulley mode favors unhooked riding and has virtually no bar pressure. This mode is great for wakestyle or freestyle riding.

 

The Omega holds it’s depower on demand capabilities through the use of the OverrideTM 2 security system. OverrideTM’s depower on demand is as simple as it gets. Simply push the control bar into the OverrideTM mode and the kite will almost immediately depower and begin to drop from the sky.

 

Now with OverrideTM 2 this often imitated concept has gone one better. Cabrinha has added a user adjustable OverrideTM stopper unit. You, the rider can now choose the release load of the OverrideTM stopper unit. An integrated tension ring can be adjusted for either a lighter or more positive release load depending on your skill level or riding preference.
