The 2007 Shockwave have three different SLE bar settings allowing you to choose the optimum set-up. There are two settings for 2:1 riding and one for 1:1 riding. Never before has a single kite been able to cover such a wide spectrum of bar set-up preferences.

 

The 2:1 configuration uses the pulleys on the bar to achieve the maximum amount of depower with the least amount of bar movement. The 2:1 configuration gives the rider a solid feeling for where the kite is at all times and a very fast turning kite. There is a medium option and a light option on the 2:1 configuration that can be changed with a knot movement on the kite.

 

When the SLE Control System is switched to the 1:1 configuration, the bar pressure is drastically reduced while maintaining a positive feel. In just a few simple steps, you can bypass the pulleys for the lightest steering flat kite on the market!
