Flat, loose and fast, the new S208 Stabilizer is another high performance upgrade to the Sonar Foil System for experienced riders. The S208 has a higher aspect ratio than the S210, which means less drag, and the flatter rondure (front view) enables more manoeuvrability. As we’ve increased our front wing range, we’ve needed to match the lift force of the front wing with the stabilizer. While your front wing creates vertical lift, your stabilizer has a downward acting force, which prevents the front wing from nose-diving. A larger stabilizer translates into more front foot pressure, while a smaller stabilizer equals less front foot pressure. The North stabs are mounted on top of the fuselage, which helps them to avoid turbulence from the flow of the front wing, creating a smoother ride. This top mounting also gives the rider an early breach warning - the stab pierces the water surface first, giving you a better chance of recovery before your front wing gets too high. Like the Front Wings, all Sonar Stabilizers are pre-preg carbon construction, ensuring optimal stiffness and direct performance. The thin profile section reduces drag, while the material properties help maintain structural integrity and rigidity. Stabs have a huge influence on performance. As you progress to smaller wing sizes, we recommend changing to a smaller stabilizer to be more manoeuvrable. Experienced riders will really feel the difference. Unsere drei neuen größeren Größen 1500, 1750 und 2000 sind die perfekten Wings für Einsteiger und Aufsteiger. Die drei kleineren Größen 800, 1000 und 1250 sind bereits seit einem Jahr auf dem Markt und haben sich als leistungsstarke Allrounder etabliert. Der Aero Free liegt in Bezug auf Gleitleistung und Manöverfähigkeit genau in der Mitte unserer neuen Glide und Carve 2.0 Reihe. Er hat eine etwas höhere Aspect Ratio als der Carve 2.0, aber ein anderes Profil und eine andere Outline, die eher auf eine gute Mischung aus Manövrierbarkeit, Gleiten, Pumpen und allgemeiner Benutzerfreundlichkeit abzielt. Der Aero Free deckt alle Disziplinen ab: Wing, Prone, SUP und Windsurf Foiling. Der Name verrät es bereits, dieser Wing ist nicht an eine bestimmte Disziplin gebunden, er fühlt sich bei sämtlichen Bedingungen und Könnensstufen wohl - egal ob Freeride, Freestyle, Freerace, Surf oder Downwind. Mit einem Aspektverhältnis zwischen 6.0 für das größere 2000er und 7.3 für das kleine 800cm2 sind diese Front Wings genau richtig, um die Grundlagen zu erlernen und dein Foil-Können in einer Vielzahl von Bedingungen zu beschleunigen - vom Flachwasser-Cruisen bis hin zu Sprüngen und Foilen in den Wellen. Mit seiner verspielten Outline und seinem widerstandsarmen Profil fühlt er sich aufregend und schnell an, bietet aber dennoch viel Leichtigkeit und Kontrolle. Es gibt eigentlich keine Bedingungen, in denen sich dieser Wing nicht zu Hause fühlt!   Stabilizer C Unsere Stabilizer C haben sich in den letzten Jahren in Kombination mit sämtlichen Front Wings bestens bewährt. Sie sind das, was man als "traditionell" bezeichnen würde mit einer mittleren Aspect Ratio, flach in der Mitte und ein subtiles Winglet zu den Wing Tips hin. Ein gut getestetes und bewährtes Design, das hervorragend mit unseren Aero Free SLS und Aero Lift SLS Front Wings zusammenpasst. Die C-Serie steht für Kontrolle. Bei ihnen geht es darum, den Fahrer auf seiner Flugbahn zu unterstützen und dem Foil Kontrolleigenschaften zu verleihen, ohne den Spaßfaktor einzuschränken. Continuing the huge success of the AXIS 460 Carbon rear wing, was not an easy task. We kept the same chord, foil section, and wingspan of the original 460, but added a splash of turn down on the tips, similar to the Progressive rears.  This created a rear wing that is fast, stable, pumps unreal, and likes to turn with good carving performance. The rear Stabilizer’s main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. But conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot). Shimming changes the angle of attack (AOA) and controls the amount of downforce the stabilizer creates on the overall foil system - to increase the stabilizer AOA and front foot pressure, add positive shim. The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve and increase/decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position. With the Sonar Shim Kit you can stack multiple shims, from our base setting it covers from -0.5 to +2.5 degrees. Finetune the way your foil system performs and change the way you ride. SURF / FREESTYLE / PRONE / KITE Aufbauend auf dem Erfolg unserer Carve Wings, war es das Ziel für den Carve 2.0, die Leistung dieser Mid Aspect Wings weiter zu optimieren. Unsere Teamfahrer wollten noch mehr Gleitleistung, Speed und geringeren Widerstand. Das alles bei verbesserter Manövrierbarkeit und Beibehaltung der altbekannten Kontrolleigenschaften bei hoher Geschwindigkeit. Wir haben entschieden, ganz von vorne anzufangen und so ziemlich alle Designparameter zu ändern: Höhere Streckung, neue Kontur und höhere Aspect Ratio, neue Outline und Twist entlang des Wings. Und nicht nur das: Jede einzelne Größe wurde individuell auf den jeweiligen Einsatzbereich abgestimmt. Der größere 1430 hat zum Beispiel das geringste Aspektverhältnis und das dünnste Profil, für maximale Manöverfähigkeit und geringstmöglichen Strömungswiderstand. Auf der anderen Seite hat unser 850 die höchste Aspect Ratio und das dickste Profil, um den Auftrieb zu verbessern und den Strömungsabriss bei einem so kleinen Flügel zu verzögern. Der Carve 2.0 ist der ideale Flügel, wenn du "echte Wellen" ansteuern willst. Was er im Vergleich zum Free oder Glide an Gleitleistung einbüßt, macht er mit höherer Endgeschwindigkeit und viel mehr Manövrierbarkeit auf der Welle wieder wett. Der Carve 2.0 ist auch die bevorzugte Wahl unseres Freestyle-Teams bei der GWA World Tour. Mit diesen Wings gehen die Rider mit mehr Speed und explosivem Pop in die Jumps. Das mittlere Aspektverhältnis bedeutet auch, dass die harten Landungen die Ausrüstung weniger beanspruchen.  Durch die mittlere Aspect Ratio eignet sich der Carve 2.0 auch sehr gut zum Kite Foilen, wo sich die Rider aggressiver auf den Mast stützen können, ohne dass die Wing Tips aus dem Wasser ragen. Wenn du als fortgeschrittener Winger einen Flügel sucht, der sich aufregend verspielt fährt und in sehr vielen Bedingungen zu Hause ist, dann ist der Carve 2.0 die Antwort! Vom Wing Foilen in großen Wellen bis hin zu High Speed Runs auf dem Kite Foil – der Carve 2.0 deckt vieles ab!   Stabilizer P   Unsere neueste Serie von Stabilizern, die speziell zur Ergänzung unserer Carve 2.0 und Glide Serie entwickelt wurde. Die P-Serie steht für Performance! Wir haben die Aspect Ratio der Stabilizer erhöht, für mehr Auftrieb und gleichzeitig eine kleinere Oberfläche. Dadurch konnte der Strömungswiderstand verringert und die Manövereigenschaften erhöht werden, ohne die Kontrolle bei mehr Speed, für die unsere Foils bekannt sind, zu verlieren. Die Stabilizer P sind in vier Größen erhältlich: 165, 180, 200 und 220. Jede Größe wurde leicht optimiert, um perfekt mit unseren neuen Front Wings zu funktionieren. Diese neuen Stabilizer sind fast vollständig flach und haben die kleinen Winglets verloren, die man bei unserer anderen Produktreihe, den C Stabilizern, findet. Durch diese Änderungen konnten wir das Fahrgefühl in den Turns optimieren, was unseren neuen Front Wings eine aufregende und verspielte Note verleiht. WING / PRONE / KITE / PUMP / DOWNWIND / SUP / WIND Aufbauend auf dem positiven Feedback, das wir für unsere 60cm Alu 3BS Fuselage erhalten haben, haben wir beschlossen, diese Verbesserungen auf unsere längeren Fuselages auszudehnen. Wir haben jetzt 66 cm und 74 cm AL 3BS Fuselages, die unsere früheren Carbon-Fuselages mit 68 und 78 cm ersetzen. Die Umstellung auf Aluminium ermöglicht es uns, den Querschnitt der Fuselage zu reduzieren und dadurch den durch die Fuselage erzeugten Widerstand zu verringern. Gleichzeitig erhöhen wir die Festigkeit und das Gewicht nur um 2,5%. Alle unsere AL 3BS-Fuselagens verfügen über eine kleine Vertiefung hinten, in die der Stabilisator eintaucht und die Hydrodynamik verbessert. Sie haben große Aussparungen, wo die Befestigung des Frontflügels ist, um das Gewicht auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren. Natürlich erfordern die neuen Aluminium-Fuselages etwas mehr Pflege und müssen nach jedem Gebrauch demontiert und mit Süßwasser gespült werden, aber wir glauben, dass der Gewinn an Leistung es wert ist!

Are you looking to push harder, carve tighter turns and want an even more connected feeling on the larger PNG and BSC front wings? Our new Red Advance fuselage is for you.In three different sizes you get tons of options to fine tune your setup. This design sees the mast position moved 40mm closer to the front foil, opening up entirely new options for performance.The regular Red fuselages are perfectly suited to the majority of riders across all disciplines. By no means are these new Red Advance fuselage intended to replace them. They just provide options for performance and a more connected feel when pushing the limits. As the mast position on the Red Advance Fuselage is moved closer to the front wing, the effective length of the fuselage behind the mast is now slightly increased (by 40mm). When choosing your Red Advance Fuselage, it’s advisable to possibly opt for a length shorter than you are currently using. If you’re currently using an Ultrashort, you might consider the Crazyshort instead.   The Red Advance fuselage is available in Short, Ultrashort and Crazyshort sizing. Compatible with all the front wings that use the red fuselage. Compared to the regular Red fuselage range, these 3 new little siblings provide a looser, smoother transition from side-to-side.
