WING / PRONE / KITE / PUMP / DOWNWIND / SUP / WIND Aufbauend auf dem positiven Feedback, das wir für unsere 60cm Alu 3BS Fuselage erhalten haben, haben wir beschlossen, diese Verbesserungen auf unsere längeren Fuselages auszudehnen. Wir haben jetzt 66 cm und 74 cm AL 3BS Fuselages, die unsere früheren Carbon-Fuselages mit 68 und 78 cm ersetzen. Die Umstellung auf Aluminium ermöglicht es uns, den Querschnitt der Fuselage zu reduzieren und dadurch den durch die Fuselage erzeugten Widerstand zu verringern. Gleichzeitig erhöhen wir die Festigkeit und das Gewicht nur um 2,5%. Alle unsere AL 3BS-Fuselagens verfügen über eine kleine Vertiefung hinten, in die der Stabilisator eintaucht und die Hydrodynamik verbessert. Sie haben große Aussparungen, wo die Befestigung des Frontflügels ist, um das Gewicht auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren. Natürlich erfordern die neuen Aluminium-Fuselages etwas mehr Pflege und müssen nach jedem Gebrauch demontiert und mit Süßwasser gespült werden, aber wir glauben, dass der Gewinn an Leistung es wert ist!  

ALLROUND (FREERIDE / FREESTYLE / FREESURF / PRONE / WIND) Der Aero Free ist unser Alleskönner. Unsere drei neuen größeren Größen 1500, 1750 und 2000 sind die perfekten Wings für Einsteiger und Aufsteiger. Ihre stabilen Flugeigenschaften, der frühe Lift und die enorme Endgeschwindigkeit machen sie zu den idealen Wings für schnellen Fortschritt. Die drei kleineren Größen 800, 1000 und 1250 sind bereits seit einem Jahr auf dem Markt und haben sich als leistungsstarke Allrounder etabliert. Der Aero Free liegt in Bezug auf Gleitleistung und Manöverfähigkeit genau in der Mitte unserer neuen Glide und Carve 2.0 Reihe. Der Name verrät es bereits, dieser Wing ist nicht an eine bestimmte Disziplin gebunden, er fühlt sich bei sämtlichen Bedingungen und Könnensstufen wohl - egal ob Freeride, Freestyle, Freerace, Surf oder Downwind. Mit einem Aspektverhältnis zwischen 6.0 für das größere 2000er und 7.3 für das kleine 800cm2 sind diese Front Wings genau richtig, um die Grundlagen zu erlernen und dein Foil-Können in einer Vielzahl von Bedingungen zu beschleunigen - vom Flachwasser-Cruisen bis hin zu Sprüngen und Foilen in den Wellen. FUSION ALLOY TOP PLATE MKII HIGH PERFORMANCE - DURABILITY SIZES: ONE SIZE The Fusion Alloy Top Plate is constructed from extruded aircraft grade aluminium that result in an incredibly rigid mast to board socket connection. The TITAN mast foot is the connecting part that makes the F-ONE aluminum masts compatible with all TITAN fuselages and wings. It is made of superior-grade aluminum 6061, CNC machined with high precision and fully anodized. To install the TITAN mast foot, it should be inserted into the bottom end of the aluminum mast and fastened with two M6x25mm tapered head screws.  

The F-ONE aluminum mast can be connected to the board with several options. Choose from a 4-bolt top plate, a standard Tuttle head, a KF or a DKF head. All versions are fastened to the mast through a sleeve and a two-bolt system. The Mast Top parts are machined out of solid blocks of 6061 aluminum. The accuracy of the CNC makes sure the geometry of the connection is perfect. Stainless steel inserts are used systematically to preserve the durability of the fastening connections. The Top Plate has become standard on the market and is compatible with any board featuring a Twin-Tracks system. The spacing we use for the four screws is 160×90 mm, but our latest version also features an option for 165×90 mm. The Top Tuttle makes F-ONE foils compatible with all Tuttle boards. The Tuttle format is the original and standard one. A flange has been added around the base of the head to better spread the load through the structure of the board. The KF and DKF heads make current F-ONE foils compatible with kite or SUP foil boards produced previously with these boxes. The rear Stabilizer’s main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. But conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot). Shimming changes the angle of attack (AOA) and controls the amount of downforce the stabilizer creates on the overall foil system - to increase the stabilizer AOA and front foot pressure, add positive shim. The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve and increase/decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position. Flat, loose and fast, the new S208 Stabilizer is another high performance upgrade to the Sonar Foil System for experienced riders. The S208 has a higher aspect ratio than the S210, which means less drag, and the flatter rondure (front view) enables more manoeuvrability. As we’ve increased our front wing range, we’ve needed to match the lift force of the front wing with the stabilizer. While your front wing creates vertical lift, your stabilizer has a downward acting force, which prevents the front wing from nose-diving. A larger stabilizer translates into more front foot pressure, while a smaller stabilizer equals less front foot pressure. The North stabs are mounted on top of the fuselage, which helps them to avoid turbulence from the flow of the front wing, creating a smoother ride. This top mounting also gives the rider an early breach warning - the stab pierces the water surface first, giving you a better chance of recovery before your front wing gets too high. Like the Front Wings, all Sonar Stabilizers are pre-preg carbon construction, ensuring optimal stiffness and direct performance. The thin profile section reduces drag, while the material properties help maintain structural integrity and rigidity. Stabs have a huge influence on performance. As you progress to smaller wing sizes, we recommend changing to a smaller stabilizer to be more manoeuvrable. Experienced riders will really feel the difference. Wir haben entschieden, ganz von vorne anzufangen und so ziemlich alle Designparameter zu ändern: Höhere Streckung, neue Kontur und höhere Aspect Ratio, neue Outline und Twist entlang des Wings. Und nicht nur das: Jede einzelne Größe wurde individuell auf den jeweiligen Einsatzbereich abgestimmt. Der größere 1430 hat zum Beispiel das geringste Aspektverhältnis und das dünnste Profil, für maximale Manöverfähigkeit und geringstmöglichen Strömungswiderstand. Auf der anderen Seite hat unser 850 die höchste Aspect Ratio und das dickste Profil, um den Auftrieb zu verbessern und den Strömungsabriss bei einem so kleinen Flügel zu verzögern. Der Carve 2.0 ist der ideale Flügel, wenn du "echte Wellen" ansteuern willst. Was er im Vergleich zum Free oder Glide an Gleitleistung einbüßt, macht er mit höherer Endgeschwindigkeit und viel mehr Manövrierbarkeit auf der Welle wieder wett. Der Carve 2.0 ist auch die bevorzugte Wahl unseres Freestyle-Teams bei der GWA World Tour. Mit diesen Wings gehen die Rider mit mehr Speed und explosivem Pop in die Jumps. Das mittlere Aspektverhältnis bedeutet auch, dass die harten Landungen die Ausrüstung weniger beanspruchen.  Durch die mittlere Aspect Ratio eignet sich der Carve 2.0 auch sehr gut zum Kite Foilen, wo sich die Rider aggressiver auf den Mast stützen können, ohne dass die Wing Tips aus dem Wasser ragen. Wenn du als fortgeschrittener Winger einen Flügel sucht, der sich aufregend verspielt fährt und in sehr vielen Bedingungen zu Hause ist, dann ist der Carve 2.0 die Antwort! Vom Wing Foilen in großen Wellen bis hin zu High Speed Runs auf dem Kite Foil – der Carve 2.0 deckt vieles ab!   Stabilizer P   Unsere neueste Serie von Stabilizern, die speziell zur Ergänzung unserer Carve 2.0 und Glide Serie entwickelt wurde. Die P-Serie steht für Performance! Wir haben die Aspect Ratio der Stabilizer erhöht, für mehr Auftrieb und gleichzeitig eine kleinere Oberfläche. Dadurch konnte der Strömungswiderstand verringert und die Manövereigenschaften erhöht werden, ohne die Kontrolle bei mehr Speed, für die unsere Foils bekannt sind, zu verlieren. Die Stabilizer P sind in vier Größen erhältlich: 165, 180, 200 und 220. Jede Größe wurde leicht optimiert, um perfekt mit unseren neuen Front Wings zu funktionieren. Diese neuen Stabilizer sind fast vollständig flach und haben die kleinen Winglets verloren, die man bei unserer anderen Produktreihe, den C Stabilizern, findet. Durch diese Änderungen konnten wir das Fahrgefühl in den Turns optimieren, was unseren neuen Front Wings eine aufregende und verspielte Note verleiht. Nutze die Vorteile unserer neuen dünnen Shims und passe den Anstellwinkel des Stabilizers in Schritten von +/- 0,3 Grad an deinen Fahrstil oder die individuellen Bedingungen an.

The development of the much faster-running ARTPRO wings prompted us to begin experimenting with reduced chord rear stabilisers to maximise this newfound speed advantage. With minimal span changes (just 7mm between them) and drastic chord reduction down to 55, 50, 45, 40 and 35mm, we found positive gains in speed, control, balance and feel. The Skinnies have inherited many of the same characterises that make our Progressive range so popular, like the precise feel and seamless turn initiation plus recovery. They are very low drag and free up speed and turning. Heavier riders and those less experienced will gravitate to the 55, 50 and 45 chord models, those who are lighter and or have greater experience might opt to reduce drag in the extreme and try the 40 or 35mm chord options.The Skinny rear wings inspire confidence by providing a more comfortable ride at speed, they reduce the normal buildup of front foot pressure that can be associated with high-speed foiling. They are a perfect match to ARTPRO foils, but keep in mind, your HPS, ART, PNG and even BSC, will equally benefit from the Skinny high-performance DNA.

This design sees the mast position advanced 60mm closer to the front foil (compared to our regular fuselages), opening up entirely new options for surf performance. Our Current Black fuselage range is perfectly suited to the majority of riders across all disciplines, while these new Black ADVANCE+ fuselages are not intended to replace them but provide options for performance and a more connected feel when pushing the limits. If you are an intermediate or expert surf / wave foiler, this could be a great upgrade for you. A consideration when moving the mast position on the fuselage forward is that the effective length of the rear fuselage back to the rear stabilizing foil is increased by the distance the mast moves forward. When choosing your Advance Black Fuselage, it’s advisable to take this into consideration and perhaps opt for a length shorter than you are used to using. If you’re currently using an Ultrashort, you might consider the Crazyshort instead. Available in Short, Ultrashort, Crazyshort and Sillyshort  and Psychoshort (just 520mm). Compared to our Standard Black fuselage range, the Advance+ provide a looser, faster transition from side-to-side. The sensation our testers liked it for is similar to the sensation of moving fins forward in the tracks on a surfboard, initiating turns becomes easier, which is great in the surf. There is a small trade-off, this ease of turning comes as at the expense of some tracking and speed stability. (So expect to have a small effect on upwind ability when winging and a need to adjust pumping technique slightly. If you are into ultra high speed big wave riding, you should consider the regular black fuselages instead).With the mast set further forward on the fuselage, your baseplate position needs to be further forward in the boxes to position the wings in the same position as the normal Black fuselageIn an effort to reduce our cardboard footprint, these new Black ADVANCE+ fuselages come with our new custom fuselage protective covers, and no paper / cardboard boxes. 

The Sonar High Aspect Front Wing Series is engineered for the highest speed and efficiency possible across a range of disciplines – from kite foiling to prone foil surfing. With this style of wing, you need minimal pump and power to generate glide. The shorter chord length defines the profile thickness, and with a thin profile comes reduced drag. The span gives you stability and a slightly longer radius turn than a lower aspect ratio wing of the same size. When we started designing our next generation wing collection, we realized that the 2021 high performance wings required their own style fuselage. We felt that whoever wants to ride fast, wouldn't want to compromise on the wing design and fairing of their high performance wings, just to have them compatible with their existing fuselages.  Please note: you will need the AXIS Mast Adapter aka the Doodad (in 19mm and 16mm), in order to use with the Aluminium Mast.
